High Key:
Taken using a white background. This style of portraiture has become very popular over the last few years; it normally lends intself to the more casual style and allows you to become expressive - indeed couples usually love this style because they can have fun in a relaxed atmosphere. Always taken in the studio, we can accomodate up to ten people in a sitting.
Lifestyle:
Always taken on location, this style of photography is generally very informal and involves the photographer to just observe and take the images as they see them; sometimes requiring a little direction from the photographer to get the images that you want. We spend a little time getting to know you better and then just blend into the background taking the shots.This style of photography can be taken at your home, or a favourite spot near to where you live. Favoured by couples and families alike, because it is a natural more candid style and captures true expression.
Low Key:
Taken using predominately dark backgrounds, it is a style of photography that owes it's origins to the great Hollywood photographers of the 30's 40's and 50's. Taken quite often using minimal lighting to create a dramatic effect; this style of photography is a firm favourite of makeover shoots for the ladies or brides to be who want to give their future husbands a special gift on their wedding day. This style also works very well for the guys who want that sinister or dramatic look, or indeed for couples who just want something different from what they see in most studios. Generally taken in the studio, but can be taken at your home if you have sufficient room.
