Can we see some examples of your work ?

Yes. The easiest way is to make an appointment to visit us, where we will be able to show you our albums and DVD slideshows of various weddings and venues that we have photographed. We can also discuss exactly what you want from your photography. This is important, as we want to take the images in the style that pleases you!

How much do you charge ?

This does depend on what you want from your photography. (Albums, Slideshows, etc,) Our collection for the bride & groom start from £650. We are always happy to produce a bespoke package geared to exactly what you require. We also run special offers from time to time.

How many photographs do you take ?

This rather depends on the collection selected, but with our most popular we present the bride and groom with around 300 images from which to select for their album. Generally we have no limit on the amount of photographs taken and we have been known to present couples with more than 500 images.

Can we have the photographs on disc ?

We do offer this option, but we believe that wedding photographs should be presented in a way that good photography deserves, this can only be done using quality albums. It would be tragic to have wondeful photographs taken only to put them into a sub-standard album, or worse put them in a drawer never to be seen again.

Are you insured ?

Yes we are insured for professional indemnity and for public liability of £2,000,000 Although we have never had to make a claim. We always have back up equipment with us, so if anything does go wrong with a camera, we will be up and running again in no time.

How long will you be with us ?

Yet again this depends on the package selected, but with our popular packages we are with you around 4 - 5 hours. Normally starting at the brides leaving address, through the ceremony and up until the start of your wedding breakfast. We can stay until the first dance, around 8.30pm if required.

When will I receive my proofs ?

We present you with a proof CD rom of all the images taken at your wedding, usually available 2  weeks after the wedding, these are yours to keep. We also offer your photographs to be put online via our online albums page, they would be live within 2 days of your wedding and your guests can order online, making it much easier for you, the bride and groom.

What if it rains ?

Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather, but we do have contingency plans. We always carry wedding umbrellas if the weather looks doubtful and it is very unusual for a wedding to be totally ruined by rain. If it is raining heavily then we would have to take most of the photographs under cover at the church or at your reception venue. We always try to get shots of the bride and groom outside, no matter what the weather.

How much time should I allow for the photography ?

This largely depends on a number of factors, like travelling between venues and how many group photographs you would require. We always like to give you time to relax and enjoy your day, have a glass of champagne and some canapes, this is important as it helps you relax, having time to talk to your guests and we can get the images that reflect this. Normally the photography takes around 1 - 1½ hours after the ceremony if you are having it all at one venue. If you are having a church wedding then you need to add the time it would take you and your guests to get to your reception venue. Most ceremonies take about 30 - 45 minutes to marry you and sign the register etc.

I hate having my photographs taken ?

We have many brides and some grooms who have the same anxiety. It is our job to get you as relaxed as possible on the day. We do this by meeting you before your wedding day, where we can get to know each other better, and we will know more of your style. On the day we make an effort to make you feel relaxed and many of the photographs will be done in a natural and informal way, so you won't feel embarrassed and you will get photographs you never knew where taken. Above all it's your wedding, just have fun and enjoy the day!
